A group of archeologists led by Professor Talmudist Gorky of Ankara University just recently uncovered three ancient Greek mosaics in the Turkish city of Zelma near the border of Syria. Fearing that the ancient treasures of Zelma would be lost permanently, archeologists rushed to excavate, safeguard , and save the relics of the past, including the incredibly intact glass mosaics that go back to the Second century BC. Although part of the city is now immersed underwater , excavations continue in the hopes of uncovering more historic artifacts.
